SMS Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Brilliant Recruiter's SMS recruiting communications program (the "Program"). By opting in to receive text messages from Brilliant Recruiter — for example, by checking the SMS consent box on our signup form at brilliantrecruiter.com — you agree to these Terms.

1. Program description

Brilliant Recruiter operates the Program to notify candidates who have opted in about specific job opportunities at our client companies that match their background. Messages are sent only when a relevant role is open, so the Program does not operate on a regular schedule.

2. How to opt in

To join the Program, submit the candidate signup form on our website with your mobile number and explicitly check the SMS consent box. Consent to receive SMS messages from us is not a condition of any purchase, service, or consideration for any role.

3. Message frequency

Message frequency varies. You will typically receive fewer than 4 messages per month, and in many months no messages at all.

4. Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan. Brilliant Recruiter does not charge a fee to participate in the Program, but you are responsible for any charges your mobile carrier may impose.

5. How to opt out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, you will receive one confirmation message acknowledging your request, and we will not send you any additional messages through the Program. If you want to rejoin, simply sign up again on our website.

6. Help

If you need help or have questions about the Program, reply HELP to any message you receive from us, or email hello@brilliantrecruiter.com. You can also call us at the number you receive texts from during U.S. business hours.

7. Supported carriers

The Program is available on all major U.S. mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of messages is subject to effective transmission from your mobile service provider and is outside of our control.

8. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the authorized owner or primary user of the mobile phone number you provide to participate in the Program. By opting in, you represent that you meet these requirements.

9. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Your mobile number, opt-in status, and SMS consent information are used only to deliver messages for this Program and will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

10. Content and conduct

Messages sent through the Program are intended for the opted-in recipient only. Please do not forward our messages, and do not use any reply content for purposes other than communicating with Brilliant Recruiter about potential roles.

11. No warranty

The Program is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Brilliant Recruiter makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Program, including the timeliness of message delivery.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may modify or cancel the Program or these Terms at any time, with or without notice. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for current subscribers, we may notify you by text or email.
